Self-Reflection For Success


Self-reflection is important at all times, but I find myself doing it more when I’m beginning something or looking back on it.  For me, I find that these “end” or “beginning” markers make me pause and evaluate.  What have I done well?  How can I be better?  What are my goals?  Priorities?  Values?  How can I apply those to whatever I’m doing?

It’s easy to get intimidated by the complicated world of yoga.  It’s totally understandable that you might take one look at crow pose and delete yoga as a concept in your mind for the rest of eternity.  But WAIT.  Don’t give up yet.  You need less than you think to get started doing yoga.  Aspiring yogis, read on.

“Bad” food: does a “clean” diet even exist?


If there’s one thing I’ve learned since I started caring about the food I put into my body, it’s that there aren’t very many food items in existence that every person agrees are good for you.  It seems like everyone and their mom has become concerned with eating a “clean” diet.  Only consuming “good” food.  “Cleansing” their systems.  Getting rid of the “toxins”.  Okay… but what does that even mean?
